Ziggy`s Cafe in Havelock

Need a good meal in a place that feels like home? Head over to Ziggy's hidden away in Westbrook Shopping Center. Portions are huge and the staff are super friendly. I had a brunch that was better than any I have enjoyed in quite awhile and I didn't even have to wait until the weekend! They have eggs, bacon, pancakes, etc, but next time I will try some soup and a sandwich since those looked so tempting. All of the food looked great as it came out of the kitchen and smelled even better. They have a big chalkboard listing daily specials which offered welcome variety here in Havelock.

This little cafe is brimming with good people and good food. The staff is friendly and efficient and the prices are fair. I have yet to have any negative experiences here ACCEPT the fact that I'm always too full to move after a great breakfast. The resturant itself very small but I have never waited more than 10 minutes for a table. Highly recommended by all us locals.

Oh my stars! The food is always so yummy and the waitresses are awesome! Food is cooked to order, so it's fresh and worth the wait! Try it!!! You won't regret it!

It has a small dining room, so it's not a place inviting long hangouts. Also, be patient if going because you may have to wait for an available table. I had an order of French toast and eggs and bacon. To me it was average. The BACON was notable, though ... good crispness and not oily!

Always delicious food!! From the pancakes, sausage gravy biscuits and the omelettes.. it's all so good and hard to make a decision!! Great food for a good price!

The food is always great and good quantity. The waitresses are awesome and engaging. I have a favorite table (near the door for the view of walkers and nature) and the wait time normally allows me to get that table. And the water must have some magical powers to it - it is addicting!

This is a wonderful venue for breakfast and lunch. A small, busy and cluttered dining area felt cozy rather than claustrophobic. The food was excellent and the portions are generous. The service was homey and patient. The bottomless coffee cup was filled with a good brew of aromatic blend. This is a neighborhood restaurant perfect for meeting friends or family. If you are looking for an upscale experience then this isn't it. But if you want great food in a comfortable atmosphere then give it a try.

The food was delicious. Great people and the service was great. They're definitely busy and the dining room doesn't seat many so be patient because it's definitely worth it. The gravy biscuits are very tasty, all the olives are great and pretty much everything else is awesome too. If you're looking for a new place to grab breakfast or passing through Havelock stop in and give Ziggy's Cafe a try.

Great little lunch spot.

My wife and I went there for breakfast. The food is alright, nothing special. But it's such an awesome little place that is family owned and so worth the price. It's the best breakfast place in Havelock.

I usually only make comments if I am impressed with a really good, or really bad restaurant. Ziggy's gets high marks. Their food comes out on a plate full of goodness. Their omelettes are delicious and the French Toast is thick and flavored perfectly. You may have a little weight time on two benches outside their covered doorway but it is never a long wait and it is a complement to how good it is. Ziggy's is a small establishment, but you can't beat the friendly staff and food. Highly recommended!

Very nice quaint Hometown coffee shop.Breakfast was great so was the service.

Not sure if I'll ever go back. Slow service. Rude wait staff & for the amount of food... it's over priced. I know can gravy & instant potatoes. Trying to make me look stupid....But go on and serve that cheap mess to someone else... cause I don't want it!! Very disappointed.

It took 50 minutes to get my order, ham & cheese omelette, hash browns, toast. Not going there again. Sorry.

Love their food. Good omelets, love to get their homefries (I get them extra crispy). Like their waffles. Actually, I like everything I've eaten there.

Good breakfast food..Not a 5 star rating because they have only standard breskfadt fare and don't have their own special breakfash dish and I have not eaten lunch there

Service is very friendly, quick to respond to my needs. Food was excellent. Pancakes taste like butter! Good and filling. Steak and eggs was prepared well. Prices are low. This is an excellent place to get a delicious, cheap meal from some kind people.

Very friendly staff and tasty food for a good price. It is a small place so sometimes patience is required waiting for a table or a to go order. Usually no more than 25 mins. It is well worth the wait. If you ask they will give you coffee while you wait.

Delicious food well worth the Sunday rush wait. Always hot and freshly made! Reminds me of my moms Sunday breakfasts.

Second time I've been food great and good prices.but the service I give a 5 because both times had to ask for refills you've got a good thing going but you need more room to but needs to keep up on peoples refills ok thanks.

Best meal we had all weekend in Havelock. My fluffy waffle and my granddaughter in law’s strawberry covered pancakes ..mmm. Thank you again for the regulars who gave up their bigger table for my pregnant pancake loving granddaughter and my family . I would eat there a lot if I didn’t live in WNC.
